Michelle Dolder
I am a second-year history student who loves to dance. I started dancing at six years old and it has been my passion ever since. From ballet to jazz or dance moves at Loop, dance is my happy place. I am in the Advanced Ballet Competition Team which was a beacon of light during the dark lockdown autumn and winter. The society kept me active, creative, and disciplined as well as provided an opportunity for social exchange with my dance partners. I am so grateful for this vibrant and fun society and would love to give back. As a fun-loving, sociable, and inclusive person I would love to make everyone feel welcome, old members, as well as freshers and those who joined online, who do not know many members yet. I want to organize cool events like a rollerblade disco or a dance movie marathon night. My previous committee position in the Retail Luxury and Business Society has prepared me well for such a role as I know how much time-management, dedication and social skills are necessary for a committee to thrive.

Hi everyone! I'm Jordan and I'm running for social sec. I have enjoyed many of dance society's socials this year as I'm sure many of you have and I would love to be able to bring more great socials for next year. Dance is such a fun sport and performing art and I would love to bring that energy to all the socials. If I was elected I would try and deliver a variety of socials to make sure everyone could feel like there was something for them. As soon as restrictions are relaxed more I'd organise in-person socials (even if it meant organising small groups to abide with guidelines); safety would be a high priority and I would make sure everyone felt comfortable. I think I'd be suited to this role as I am organised and would be committed to any committee task or responsibility, I am also a friendly person and would want to make sure everyone was happy and comfortable at socials. Lastly, I love a party and lots of fun and I would love to be able to organise great socials for everyone!
