Eva Antoniadi
Hi, I'm Eva Antoniadi, a first-year mathematics student and I am standing to be your next welfare officer.
Working with the rest of the committee to plan events that include all members of this society is going to be my main goal. I believe that I have the organizational skills along with the experience that it takes to be in this position.
I was elected as a member of the Student Council in form 7 at school, which meant working together with my fellow council members to help manage and organize events, that would represent the entire school, such that, the school BBQ and Talent night.
As a debater, I was also given the opportunity to organize a European Youth Parliament event in Cyprus, making the needs and welfare of all participants my top priority.
I believe myself to be a very social and approachable person. I’m always open to talk to people, hence, you will always be able to discuss with me any concerns or questions, regarding both the society, as well as, any personal welfare concerns.
I plan on acting in the best interests of the members of this society, creating opportunities to support everyone.
Danilo Paganelli
Hey! My name is Danilo and I would love to be the Welfare officer! I look Greek culture so much and I really want to study the language – both the modern and ancient versions! I also really want to learn about Cypriot culture. As my role as welfare officer, I would ensure that everyone in the society feels happy and that if there are any issues at all, I will try to help as much as I can. I would also ask for regular feedback and try to make the society the very best it can be! One thing that I would really like to do is see if we can set up Greek teaching classes, as Modern Greek is not taught at UCL, and I think that people should have the opportunity to learn the amazing language! I also many ideas for events, such as Greek and Cypriot Cook offs, club/dance nights and Karaoke parties
