Hello! I am Zi Han, a first-year PPE student running to be Head of Project Recruiting at Consulting Society.

Perhaps like some of you, I was unsure about my future career plans upon entering Zoom university. Fortunately, I stumbled upon consultancy as an option, which could unite my passion for strategic problem-solving and my interest in a variety of industries.

As such, I went on to serve numerous roles at student consultancies, as VP of Client Acquisition at CCN (London), VP of Education at UCC, and a consultant at LSC. In my experience, I had the privilege of pitching to a diverse range of clients, from F50 firms and multinational enterprises to startups and NGOs, gaining fresh insight and perspective through each interaction. Going forward, therefore, I hope to capitalise on my network and take our society to even greater heights.

If elected, I will strive for these priorities:
- Expand our client base to include up-and-coming industries, such as fintech and pharmaceuticals
- Broaden access to consulting projects and accommodate for different experience and difficulty levels
- Initiate a careers hub that provides resources and support for professional development
- Collaborate with similar societies both within and beyond UCL for our members to gain commercial awareness

If any of these ideas resonated with you, I would be incredibly grateful for your support!

Thank you! :)

Hello! My name is Sienna and I’m running for the position of Head of Project Recruiting. I am confident that I will be able to excel in this role for the following reasons:
1.I have strong organizational skills and sense of responsibility. I have had experience leading a student club as the president, which required me to always remain organized and responsible. I'm also a first year executive at UCL’s Asia Careers Society where I successfully organized an online consulting panel along with 2 peers. These experiences have developed my time management, self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
2.I have experience with recruiting, which ranges from interviewing candidates for my student club committee to selecting guest speakers for the various public events I organized. Through these experiences, I have gained the skills to effectively learn about a candidate’s strengths, weaknesses and motivations, allowing me to find the most ideal candidates that best suit the needs of each project.
If elected, I will aim to achieve the following:
1.Work closely with the Client Projects VP to learn about our clients’ needs
2.Responsibly organize application and interview schedules to ensure a smooth recruitment process
3.Conduct interviews in a friendly manner that will allow candidates to showcase their potentials comfortably
If you have any questions, feel free to email me at [email protected] I hope you can vote for me. Thank you! :)
