To stand for the role of Internal Vice President since I believe I am a strong competitor for this position with a wealthy of working ability and experience.
My CSSA life started as an executive of the Career department and I worked in the group of Advisory Committee afterward. This has trained my working skills and helped me to transform from an organiser to a leader, I have now fully understood the organisation process of activities and team management. The result of my work can be proved by all the successful event and the great compliment from the participants, of course, these would not be achieved without all the hard work of my teammates and partners.
In my opinion, the Internal Vice President should act as a bridge to coordinate the communication and operation of the departments, but also provide necessary helps and suggestions to ensure the normal work affairs of CSSA and lead the team for further development. Also, it should cooperate with the External Vice President to build the brand awareness of UCLCSSA through the development of iconic events and the growth of external communication and publicity by multi-channel and multi-dimensions. Finally, two VP will work together to assist the president to carry out this year's work and make greater progress.
In conclusion, I am confident that I am a suitable candidate for this role and I will able to do my job perfectly with my experience and skills.
Two years in the CSSA, as a member of the Secretariat (similar to the Consultant Group, 2019-2020)and Publicity&IT, and as the Head of Publicity and IT(2020-2021) has offered me great insights into how should I act as the VP for Internal Affairs.
After a year as the Head of Pubilcity&IT, I have worked with members and Heads of all other departments and they have all convinced me that the function of the Consultant Group as an administrational intermediary needs to be reformed.
And my experience as a Secretary told me that the line of authority between the Consultant Group and the Chief Secretary regarding proposal-proofing is quite unsatisfactory and confusing, making senior members hard to really listen to all the departments' needs and demands.
They are the two priorities if I am worthy enough to be elected to become the VP for Internal Affairs. As a student of public matters with internship experiences in the field of big businesses and law, I believe I have the organisational ability to reform the structure to achieve both efficiency and fairness.
2021 is a year for change, and if you trust me, I will be the one who brings the change and reform that you wish for. 2021 is a year for diversity, and if it is me that is lucky enough to take office, I will strive to include more likes of mind into our decision-making process, regardless of your seniority and department. 2021 is the year to vote, and I wish you can vote for me, vote for change, VOTE for US!
