I suppose the priority of being a welfare officer is to care about the wellbeing of society members and all the Chinese students since they are the prime targeted group of our events. I have received the Psychological Counselor (State 3) Qualification, so I could offer initiatory help if anyone faces any mental crisis. Consultant skills could also be applied to daily communication within the society, and I will strive for stimulating a more harmonious ambience in the CSSA. I also wish to add more innovative tweets on our social platforms to promote mental health. Besides, working in the spring festival gala crew for the past two years, I have gained experiences in collaborating interdepartmentally. I believe this is a critical requirement to be a welfare officer, that is to coordinate different affairs within the society. I also have worked with the UCL Students' Union several times, with the Bloomsbury theatre and the club & society teams. I hope I could create a stronger bond between CSSA and the SU, not only expecting to get mental support and recognition but also strive for physical support in our own activities and even fiscal support as I wish to conduct more inclusive events and apply for the Welfare Fund. Plus, coordinating with parents group is also a main aim of future work, as we concern students' wellbeing. I have been helping with administering the parents' group chat on WeChat and have negotiated with many parents. This makes me more familiar with my future job.

In my opinion,Welfarey Officer should be good at communication, patient, understand the overall structure of the student union and our society(uclcssa), and have leadership and work ability. For me, I have worked in this society for two years. Last year, as the head of culture, I led a team to work for students, so I think I have enough experience and work ability to match this position. Moreover, I am often praised by my friends as a gentle, careful, warm and patient person, so I am confident that I can be competent for this position. If I am elected to this position, I promise that I will focus on the protection of students' welfare, make efforts to protect the physical and mental health of the community and students, do my duty and never forget my original intention. I will make the following arrangements for my work in the next year:(and will listen to the students' voices, improve actively and live up to everyone's expectations.)(Please believe me, and cast your sincere and valuable vote!)1.Ensure the physical and mental health of student groups at the executive committee level within the Federation, adjust the i.e. work conflicts, and provide necessary help in a timely manner.2.Provide consultation for Chinese parents: pay attention to parents' feedback questions in time, answer patiently and give firm answers at the same time.[In fact, as long as I do, I can try my best to do well. I will live up to your expectations. Please vote for me!] Thank you for reading : )
