I have enjoyed being a member of the Investigations team this year, contributing to and writing articles, and would like to assume a more active role. Journalism has always interested me and I see investigative articles as an effective way to hold people in power to account - exposing the information that they would rather keep hidden. Further, I believe that the Cheese Grater is, and should remain, in a unique position to represent the interests of students who face any type of injustice on and off campus. When UCL institutions fail in their duties - something that seems to happen quite often - we should be proud to be the ones who expose them for their incompetencies and shortcomings. As Investigations Editor, I would ensure that the Cheese Grater continues to strike fear into the heart of UCL's figures in power!
