The UCL Catholic society has a good social media presence. Regularly, timely accurate information is being provided along with good graphics. Nevertheless, I believe that this strong foundation can be built upon. It can be used to further cultivate social media engagement and develop a successful strategy. Indeed, I have strong experience in the domain. During summer during the Covid-19 pandemic, three friends and I set out to promote the beauty of our country. Our objective was to visit all communes and to present our tour on social media. I was responsible for a wide range of Facebook and Instagram updates. In the end, we reached over a thousand followers on both platforms and produced good social media graphics. Thus, our tour reached our country’s minister of tourism. He invited us to chat about our journey and discuss local tourism. So, if you vote for me, I will do my best to use my past experience to improve the UCLCathSoc media presence.

Hey everyone, I’m running for the digital coordinator position as I feel, both, Cathsoc and I will benefit from this. I believe that through this role I will be able to unleash my creative side as I’ve always wanted to be in such a role. I always find myself naturally capturing lots of memories on my phone camera so it would be my absolute pleasure to capture fun, sacred and candid moments via my photography/videography. I have had experience with a similar sort of role with the youth chaplaincy group in my hometown, mainly having had experience with Microsoft Publisher to make posters, assisting in video filming and also producing marketing TikToks and Instagram stories for our events. I am hoping to improve these skills over the summer and learn a few new ones so that my service to the Cathsoc is optimum!
If elected, my priorities will be coordinating information to everyone, designing posters and taking requests of any novenas or prayers that anyone would like to be forwarded. To add, I would focus on capturing moments so that we all can reminisce on them in the future! I would also assist the committee in terms of ideas for events and also coordinating this information to Cathsoc members via posters and messages.
