Hey! My name is Danilo and I would love to be your welfare officer for the amazing Canadian society! I love Canadian culture and I really want to visit it in the future - it is a beautiful country! As your welfare officer I would go above and beyond to make sure that everyone in the society is comfortable and happy, and to make sure that everyone has their voice heard and that feedback is listened to. I would ensure that if anyone has a problem - however big or small- I will be to help them in anyway I can. My goal in life is to help people and make them happy! I will also make sure that the Canadian Society is the best that it can be - I have loads of ideas for events! One thing that I would also love to promote are the lesser-known Canadian languages, such as Inuktitut - preservation of these languages is essential!

I'm pleased to be standing to represent the friendliness that us Canadians are so well known for :)
As a new member of the society this year, I found the welcoming and open nature of all the members very helpful for a first year. I'd like to continue this into next year and ensure that CanSoc remains welcome to all new members.
My priorities as welfare officer would be to keep club activities inclusive and accessible to all members. I would also aim to be approachable, so that society members are happy to address their concerns with me freely. Furthermore, if online activities continue next year, I would want to help make them engaging and available to all our members, around the world.
Hopefully, I look forward to working together with the committee next year to keep CanSoc as awesome as it was for me this year.
