Ryohei Kurita
My name is Ryohei Kurita, and I am a First-Year Executive of the Business Society studying BSc Economics with a Placement Year.
As a committee member, I have:
1. assisted with partnership and sponsorship outreach in the client relations division by drafting sponsorship proposals and contacting external organisations,
2. proposed the idea of the Non-Finance Orientation Day and outreached to different societies to advertise the event, and
3. worked on improving online membership engagement through “BizSoc brunches” and the use of WhatsApp group chats.

If elected, I will support UCL Business Society by:
1. maintaining and elevating UCL Business Society’s prestige through valuable financial sponsorships,
2. differentiating UCL Business Society from other societies by offering unique and tailor-made career opportunities beyond finance and consulting, and
3. exploring meaningful partnerships with career organisations and university societies.

To achieve these goals, my plan of action is to:
1. create a global sponsorship and partnership portfolio that connects international students with careers abroad,
2. secure sponsorships and partnerships with prestigious firms from various industries to acquire name brand, and
3. explore sponsorships and partnerships that can give members access to virtual office tours, exclusive internships, and sponsor-affiliated insight and skill development workshops across all industries.

I will make sure that your vote counts!
Raisa Zulqaisar
Hi, my name is Raisa Zulqaisar and I am running to be your Client Relations Vice President. Over the years, I have developed leadership skills through my appointment as a student leader, and my involvement in other extra-curricular activities in the past. During my time as a prefect, I worked closely with the head of school and had the opportunity of presenting our project not only to the members of staff, but to the rest of the school on several occasions. This has honed my presentation and public speaking ability, providing me with the fundamental skill sets to pitch my ideas to my target audience. Hence, I believe that I would be a good asset to the society, especially when getting in touch with potential clients. Additionally, I have taken part in MUN where I was able to build on my self-confidence, following the immense amount of time spent on researching and discussing with fellow delegates. In turn, this experience has taught me the use of emotional intelligence, critical thinking skills and conducting effective planning and research. This would help me further, particularly when looking out for startups and other companies to acquire clients for the society’s future projects. Moreover, my work experience with an investment bank in Malaysia provided me with the foundation to understand what firms are looking for from us. If elected, I am determined to give the members of the society a choice as to what events they would like to attend. It is wise to cater our society
