Alan Aksenenko
I love the game of basketball. It is one of the few things I can do to get my mind off everyday life. Posterising people with no mercy or regard for their future is a hobby.

I am very passionate and driven by the game of basketball and further enjoy and take great pride in delegating and leading a sports club that represents my university. Being the eldest of 5 siblings I have good leadership skills as I am able to remain calm and refrain from going wild when dealing with my brothers and sisters. I know fairly well how to get what I want out of them, in a way that satisfies both them and myself, which is very important for a functioning team and team chemistry. Whatever it is that I ask them to do, I approach it in a way that will match and suit both my interests and theirs. Such an approach will translate in part to my delegation and organisation of all matters basketball, where a calm, yet energetic attitude will be taken to achieve the basketball team's goals for the year.

I believe these would be: to get more training hours, get the highest engagement possible with the student body and have as many people playing basketball as possible, have fun, further improve the level of competitive basketball at UCL, and possibly expand the number of teams if need be. Furthermore the social aspect of the team will be a priority, in line with government guidelines come October, I look forward to having as many socials as possible.

Stay balling,
Alan
