Hello fellow art enthusiasts!

As Social Secretary, I will dedicate my time to ensure that everyone is engaging with the society, its members and most importantly the art. I will ensure that ArtSoc remains and continues to be a safe haven for experimentalists, beginners, risk-takers and everyone reaching far and beyond. Art is not just an array of colors and lines, it’s a language which exceeds physical expression and speaks to the soul. It’s a boundless medium of communicating ones emotions. And that is why, I will be working to help you bridge the gap between self-expression and art.

With rona killing off our social buzz, I hope to work alongside the committee to introduce more frequent in-person (fingers crossed) and virtual ‘socialise and sketch’ sessions to continue to add on to that vibrant community which has showcased the values of hard work and dedication. In addition, Collaborations with other societies across campus such as ArabNASoc and CAS is a key interest of mine as it will help the society expand its message of creativity along with introducing new and exciting initiatives and themes. Creative picnic outings and wild-life immersion trips would be a great source of inspiration and motivation in these dull times.

Being a Lead Academic Representative and a Green Champion have instilled in me social and communication skills necessary to ensure that ArtSoc plays a huge role in your university experience as it will in mine!

Sending much love!
