Hi! I’m Ananya Toshniwal, a first-year undergraduate remotely studying Management Science until I move to London. Let’s be real- right now none of us really know each other. So, why should you trust me to be a good Marketing Director for our society?
Establishing a Bangalore branch of the non-profit ‘Chhatr Chhaya’ to uplift construction workers and my passion for volunteering confirms my interest in social entrepreneurship. Consequently, 180DC is a perfect fit for me. Furthermore, my marketing internship at Pharmed Ltd, experience as the TEDx Production Manager and running my school newsletter as the Literary Head has equipped me with transferable skills relevant to the Marketing Director role. If elected, I would…
-Reach out to like-minded societies like Enactus and Consulting Society to collaborate on events, and expand our outreach and audience.
-Post behind the scenes and outcomes of each project and interview impacted organisation for holistic society insights. Use Gen Z friendly advertisement methods like reels and memes to capture attention.
-Advertise the club as a diverse platform not just limited to members interested in consulting.
-Incentivise members to attend events with giveaways and special mentorship sessions from upperclassmen and industry experts.
Lastly, I am committed to making these unconventional times easier to navigate for our society. If you resonate with my ideas and would like to see them consolidate into action, do vote for me. Thank you!
Hi, my name is Maria and I am running for the position of Marketing Director because I want to make a difference to the UCL 180DC Society by using this position to Impart, Innovate and Inspire.
This past year, I had the pleasure of serving as the Marketing Executive for UCL 180DC and a member of the creative team at the 180DC European Summit. Through these experiences, I was able to develop my leadership, communication and time management skills. I also nurtured my creativity skills through the various campaigns we worked on, the events we helped organize and the newsletters we published. These roles helped me understand the structure and workings of the committee and has equipped me to take on a role with greater responsibility.
I want to continue to make a difference in a society that stands for the values I greatly believe in and if elected I would aim to:
- “Impart” knowledge by creating an ‘insight series’ to provide insights into different industries to improve the commercial awareness of our members
- “Innovate” the recruitment process by introducing a ‘meet our consultants’ feature where the team would interview current consultants
- “Inspire” members through a ‘coffee chats with consultants’ series which would help our members to network with and have insightful discussions with professionals working in the consulting sector
Thank you. Please contact me at
