Sevdalina Shiderova

Sevdalina Shiderova
Manifesto text:

Hello, my name is Sevdalina and I am running for the position of a President of UCL Bulgarian Society, because I would like to hear the ideas of all members and do my best to realise them and create a year full of good moments and emotions for all.

I find myself a good candidate, because I am a highly dedicated and motivated person, who has a big experience in leadership. I have been a vice-president of Interact Club, ex-president and treasurer of my high school, as well as leader of the Youth Emergency Team and member of the Board of Bulgarian Red Cross. Therefore I have developed communication and presentation skills as well as team work and coordination. I can work under pressure and enjoy organising big events and taking risks if necessary.

If elected I would aim to organise:

- Workshops where people will have the chance to share any concerns about CVs and Cover Letters, Internships, Study Abroad programs etc. and get advices from people that have already gone though this.

- Belote and Chess Tournaments throughout the academic year.

- Fun social events, movie nights in Mully’s Basement Bar and pub crawls

- Seminars to discuss volunteering opportunities and how they can contribute to our CV

I think these aims will have a positive impact on the Bulgarian Society because in my opinion the members would enjoy having more opportunities to meet the other people of the society and get to know each other.

Thank ...
