I really have no idea why I want to be elected. Maybe I just think this will be fun. Leadership in my opinion is not a job per se, it's a chance to be taken to possibly impact others in ways they may never know of.
Well, as engineers the idea is to engage in the activities of organising the design and construction of any artifice. I imagine that's what what the faculty at large teaches. In my very opinionated view, I vie not only to take the place of a voice for my fellow students and engage the faculty, ideally I also want to be involved in the projects and conversations to enhance the student experience. I'm a sociable person, well-spoken and endowed with the gift of the gab.
I've studied at UCL for a year now and love the place, the diversity, the energy of it.

If elected, I will heavily lobby for more opportunities for extra-curricular project work to be provided - be that software projects, research opportunities, conferences or events that let students exercise skills being taught in class. Working with the societies at UCL, I believe there is the chance to offer more opportunities for students to build alongside faculty and each other.

I also want to introduce a inter-university "hackathon"-like event, where the departments in the London Uni group can meet, review and innovate around interesting problems that bring positive impact.

To be frank, I just really want to throw the cat amongst the pigeons, I ask you to let me :)
