Why are you standing?:

Hey Guys,

I am a self-motivated and progress driven MSc Social Cognition Student with an extensive background in being a student representative. With a long-standing record of initiative and innovation, I have developed and executed student led projects which I believe will bring value to the faculty of Brain Sciences.

Throughout my undergraduate degree, I was the appointed Middle Eastern Ambassador, Student Union Council Member, Society President and most importantly the elected Student Representative for the Faculty of Psychology.

My previous role has improved my communication and interpersonal contribution to team efforts and organizational improvements. It has also taught me to be vocal about pressing issues, and approachable. I am open-minded and focused on new improvements in our faculty. I enjoy brainstorming and coordinating efforts to achieve a common goal.

As the Brain Sciences Faculty Rep I would like to be an active representative that voices your opinions and expresses any concern or positive feedback you might have. Being a Graduate Student is undoubtedly a stressful period. I would also like to be available on a personal level for anyone who is struggling or would just like to have a chat!

If you see me, come say hi :)
