Hey everyone, I’m your friendly neighbourhood Shirom!

This pandemic has made this year of uni pretty different. It’s been really difficult getting to know all you cool people around the different blocks. As hall rep, I have lots of ideas on how to fix that!

Here are some of my plans-

Socially distanced gatherings, where we can all have fun meeting each other while staying safe.
Film screenings where we can watch movies together as a group.
Virtual game nights that everyone who has to isolate can still participate in!
Finding and organising groups for people who have similar hobbies, such as gaming, sports etc
I’ll also look at improving certain facilities, such as improving the dryers and getting clothes irons for every flat.

These are some of the things that I’m planning to implement as hall rep, but I’m always open to other suggestions! Feel free to email me at [email protected] about any ideas or improvements that you’d like to see at Schafer house, and I will definitely look into them ?

I’ll make sure we still have fun this year, so make sure you vote for me!

Vote for safety! The quote 'Living, learning, loving, London' may be describing the university life we were expecting. At this special moment, you are probably seeking ways to make the most of accommodation life and I'm eager to help.
I knew there’s a mix of quarantine students and normal residences around our blocks, so supporting both sides will be my priority once I get elected. For those of your who are currently in quarantine, I had just finished my 14-day quarantine and knew exactly how inconvenient quarantine life is. The delivery cost, limited space and frustration on school works would all add up while we simply cannot run away from such anxiety. I’d be happy to try and negotiate with stores near our accommodation and hopefully find a better way to cut down the delivery cost. Also, I’d love to listen to all your concerns and try my best to support you. For those of you living normally, I promise I’II check regularly on sanitization around the blocks, making sure it covers all your living areas and the quality is satisfying. If you are concerned about any inappropriate activities under Tier 2 regulations, I’d be happy to hold you down.
