Filippo Fiocchi
Hello dear hallmates, I am Filippo Fiocchi, I live in 612 and I am running for hall rep to represent the interests of JD’s people. In my life I have always fought to defend people’s rights and requests, it is just the way I grew up.
I believe we should all live our experience in the best way possible, which is why I will focus to request a reduction on rent, considering access to many common facilities is prohibited. Furthermore, I will demand for more trust by security staff and less invasive patrolling, which resulted excessive in different occasions. We are all 18+ and responsible for our actions, there is no need to invade flats and rooms privacy without specific justification. Most importantly, security must supervise the accommodation, and prevent people from getting robbed right in front of the entrance (as it has happened recently).
We all expected our first year to be different. Many flats have been in or are still completing a quarantine. We are all in this together, please reach out for any support you may need in these difficult times. I am a very sociable and active person, and I will fight for your rights!
Oliver Matheret
Hi! I'm Oli, and I think I'd make an efficient hall representative for John Dodgson.
Here's why:

-> My main goal is to make living in John Dodgson a more enjoyable experience.
Too much has gone wrong here since we've moved in
- Intrusive and rude security that police us around
- Feeling of being treated like kids in a boarding school
- flawed management
- Coronavirus used as an excuse to neglect student well-being.
You pay £256/week for this hall. You deserve better treatment.

-> Your comfort and well-being is a priority
Both personal and general complaints will be brought up straight to management. When you're in your own home, no one should ever feel nervous sharing an issue they want to be resolved.

->Transparency is key:
Anything done in meetings will be reported back to the JD WhatsApp Group chat. Any questions about the hall or if you just need someone to talk to about anything, please reach out to me.

-> Depending on the budget, a Work & Well-Being Trust
Events will most likely all be denied so I would like to allocate a portion of the hall funds to a trust. Thank you
