Josephine Harmon /

Why are you standing?:

Hello, I'm Jo! I'm a PhD student at the UCL Institute of the Americas and I'm standing for Faculty Rep for Social and Historical Sciences (PGR) because I have a passion for representing the student body and, having loved being a Lead Departmental Rep last year, I can keen to use the experience I gained there to advance the student dialogue with staff and UCL. I feel I'm approachable and that I'd do justice to the student body as your representative!

Should I be elected, my priorities would be to ensure that there is sufficient provision of space and facilities to our growing student body, to promote green issues in the running of the university, and to ensure that health and wellbeing issues are a priority in how UCL runs. I feel these are the key issues that most touch the student body. I am always open to new ideas and suggestions, so feel free to approach me if you have a request or need. As your representative, I would be pleased to take this up for you!
