Karate Club

Karate is a great way to get fit, learn self-defence, compete for your university and make great friends! The discipline is a martial art originating in Japan, and features two distinct aspects: kata, and kumite.

Aikido Club

Want to do something exotic? Learn martial arts with us. Founded in 1977, the UCL Aikido Club is the one with the longest history amongst UCL martial arts clubs. We offer the traditional non-competitive Aikikai style training.

Muay Thai Club

UCL Muay Thai is UCL’s biggest martial arts club. Muay Thai is known as ‘the art of eight limbs’, incorporating fists, elbows, knees, and shins, making it the most effective and exciting combat sport on offer at UCL.

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Club

UCL Mixed Martial Arts club is UCL’s most diverse martial arts club, able to teach you the best techniques from all of the most powerful fighting styles. Those styles include Muay Thai, Karate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo.
