so TrePrClay Pigeon shooting is the art shooting a moving target which is often known as a clay. We aim to provide an affordable and friendly opportunity to shoot clays to all members of the university. All levels of shooters are welcome from complete beginners to experienced shots. We cater for all and will be able to offer tuition and training to those who require it. We aim to provide for everyone’s needs and not those who just want to shoot, we will therefore be offering a wide range of other events during the year for our members to enjoy as well as various exciting and entertaining socials.

To be a member or if you are interested in the club you do not need to have ever shot a gun before, just the ambition to have a go, and anyone can do it! We are here if you have any questions at all and we will happily answer them and help you.

Our future
Once we are officially affiliated we will be holding an EGM in order to form a full committee. Our currently vacant positions are:
Marketing
Welfare Officer
Events (Social Secretary)
We will let you know closer to the time about applying for these positions.

After the 28th of October we will begin our training sessions. As we explained to most of you, we will only be shooting every 2 weeks. You get to select what tier you're shooting (£35, £50 and £75) and  you must inform us of your choice and presence by the Wednesday before each session. We understand the money demands of this sport and thus we do not expect you to come to every session we hold, please come at your own desire (we will never chase you into coming).
In terms of teams, this weekend showed us that there are many experienced shooters among us. We are indeed a BUCs team and therefore we will be competing, however it may not necessarily happen this year. Those who have previous experience it would be great for you to email us in the next month and then we will get a group together to decide how to precede with competitions.

This is our first year as a society and although our committee members have been shooting for a long time, the runnings of a society is completely new to us and there are no predecessors that we can ask for tips. We therefore hope you guys can bare with us as we learn the ropes of leading a sporting group and we apologise in advance if events such as the taster sessions change times or dates. We promise to do our best and we're excited that we've been given this opportunity by UCL.

Again we want to thank you all for signing up to the societies mailing list. We will of course keep the mailing list going but we really encourage you to follow our Facebook  and our Instagram (@uclaypigeonshooting). I hope to see many of you at our taster sessions, please remember to buy membership.
