Security staff across UCL will be on strike for a part of next week - from 7.00am on Tuesday 19 November to 6.59pm on Wednesday 20 November

  • Should security staff be available on the day they will be deployed on a priority basis as soon as available.
  • Buildings opened by a member of the security team in the morning, may be unlocked at a later time depending on availability of staff. Should you arrive to find the building still locked, contact Security Operations on 020 7679 2108.
  • Access control will be engaged throughout the day on all buildings that normally have a Security Attendant. All staff and students will need to carry and use their access cards to enter/exit  the buildings.
  • Any visitors may not be able to enter the building in the absence of a building attendant so departments must make arrangements to meet expected visitors at the main entrances.
  • Emergency responses will be managed by the Security management team.
  • We advise that any non-critical deliveries and services scheduled for this period where third parties require access to your building are rescheduled.
