You've probably heard a lot from us about our Volunteering Fairs. They're our "big deal" events and we love to shout about them!

But they're over! Last week, we held our New Year Fair - the last of our fairs this year. It's been fantastic to see SO many charities on campus and SO many of you coming along to find out all about volunteering in London.

Over the last few weeks, we've seen nearly 250 community organisations on campus and over 3000 of you through the doors - that makes for a whole lot of volunteering potential!

But, what happens now?

Don't despair! The fairs might be a "big deal", but they're by no means the only way of getting involved in volunteering. Here's what you can do now...

The fairs showcased some of our most popular forms of volunteering, including: Education, Mental Health, Museums and Heritage, Sustainability and Health. And it's not just a happy coincidence that these are all searchable categories on our Volunteering Directory! You can browse the Directory at any time and see all our latest volunteering opportunities, handily categorised into interest areas.

Finally, we're looking forward to celebrating you and all the incredible things you're achieving through volunteering. Plans for the Volunteering Awards are already underway, ensuring that we're ready to give you the recognition you deserve. The Awards will take place on 22 May and all UCL volunteers are welcome - just make sure you've told us you're volunteering! If you're currently volunteering and don't think we know about it, just let us know.

A huge thank you to each and every one of you volunteering in the community. Your commitment and enthusiasm for what you do is inspirational! Make sure you keep in touch!
