Would you like to make a difference in your local community?

Do you want to develop your employability skills?

Do you want to work as part of a team to create and deliver a community project?

Would you like to gain experience of working in partnership with registered charities or community groups?

If so, come along to the Volunteering Service’s first Student-Led Volunteering Co-creation Event, where you will network with charities and explore ideas together to develop a community project.

Our Student-Led Volunteering Programme supports UCL students to develop and deliver community projects across London. As a Project Leader you will receive training in project and volunteer management which will provide you with the confidence and skills to create and deliver a community project.  You will need to work in a team with at least one other UCL student and will be supported every step off the way by a Project Supervisor from the Student-Led Volunteering team. You will also be able to apply for funding of up to £750. Visit our Student Stories page to see some of the projects that have been delivered as part of the Student-Led Volunteering Programme.

This event will take place on Thursday, 6 June from 14:00 - 16:30.

Places are limited, so if you would like to attend register now.

The deadline for registration is Friday 24 May.

Please note: if you are a partner organisation that would like to know more about this event please go to the organisations event page where you will be able to register to attend.
