Sunday 2 December 2018 (All day)

Name of Event: Santa Run 2018

Volunteer Role: Get into the Christmas spirit at London’s largest festive running event, Santa Run. Could you spare some time on Sunday 02 December? If the answer to this question is yes, please get in touch!

The disability charity, Scope, urgently needs volunteers to help spread the festive feeling and cheer on all the Santas, reindeers and elves at our cheer point in Victoria Park. Runners will bring a flash of festive red to the streets of London as they follow a festive 5/10km course round Victoria Park.

We have a team of over 100 Santas taking part and we want to ensure we give the best event experience possible to these inspirational people who are putting so much time, energy and sweat into raising funds to support disabled people and their families. No experience necessary.  We’re looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic, friendly and ready to be the loudest and proudest cheerers on the course!

What’s involved:

  • Cheering Santas, reindeers and elves at our dedicated cheer point, motivating our incredible fundraisers to keep going and making them feel proud of what an amazing thing that they’re doing for our charity
  • Chatting to runners’ family and friends to make sure they’re looked after and feel appreciated
  • You might be asked to help with setting up or packing down equipment, if you’re able to
