Name of Event: Royal Parks Half Marathon

Volunteer Role:​ Cheer Point and Marquee Volunteer

The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon starts and finishes in the stunning Hyde Park and thousands of spectators come together to watch and cheer on the runners. It’s an amazing experience and volunteering can help you learn some great new skills and gain new experience to support you in your personal and career development. Meet new and like-minded people and create a positive impact in your community.

Whether you’re helping to set up a marquee, putting out flags and banners or cheering on our fantastic runners, your support helps us to be the difference.

You will also receive a volunteer t-shirt and light refreshments

Any time you can give us would be much don’t worry if you can’t stay the whole day or make it for the start of the event. Anyone can join and you don’t need any previous experience – so what are you waiting for!

When: Sunday 13 October, from 09:00 to 13:00.

Where: Hyde Park, North Carriage Drive – Nearest Station: Marble Arch. The cheer point will be located along Serpentine Road, around the 6-mile mark near the Hyde Park Bandstand.
