Sunday 29 July 2018 (All day)

Name of Event: Ride London Cheer Squad

Volunteer Role: On Sunday 29 July 2018, the epic Ride London 100 is taking place in central London and the surrounding countryside! Cyclists will start at Stratford and ride 100 miles into Surrey and back.

RSBC have a team of 18 cyclists taking part in this incredible event. Our inspiring cyclists have been raising money for RSBC so that we can help even more blind and partially sighted children and young people. It’s an event like no other, and we want to show our appreciation by setting up a noisy cheerpoint at Wimbledon, which the cyclists pass at mile 90. For that we need volunteers to help us make as much noise as possible as our amazing cyclists go past!

We will provide RSBC t shirts, balloons and whistles, and drinks and snacks to keep your energy levels up! There will be several RSBC staff members there to show you how it’s done.

Shifts run from 09:00-13:00. All of our volunteers will receive a detailed brief on arrival with support from members of RSBC staff throughout the day. You will also receive an email prior to the event with detailed directions and contact details.

When: Sunday 29 July, from 09:00-13:00.

Where: Wimbledon

Volunteer places: 5
