Saturday 5 October 2019 (All day) to Thursday 10 October 2019 (All day)

Name of Event: Man of Men Badge Collections

Volunteer Role: Station Collection Fundraising Volunteer & Station Collection Lead Fundraising Volunteer

Following up our latest brand campaign, we now need your help to get our ‘Man of Men’ badge out there and increase our brand awareness while welcoming donations at selected train and tube stations in London. In your role as a Lead Volunteer you will be our key contact and responsible for the smooth running of the campaign.

What do I do?

  • Hold a tray with the ‘Man of Men’ pin badges and a bucket.
  • Greet passers-by enthusiastically and encourage them to buy a pin badge.
  • Ask for donations politely and help increase our brand awareness.
  • Commit for at least two hours at a chosen location.
  • Be comfortable interacting with the public – think high energy and untapped enthusiasm!
  • If you are leading, you will get a delivery of materials for your group that you’ll be responsible for and you’ll be expected to help us banking donations raised.

When: Saturday 5 October – Sunday 6th October – Wednesday 9th October – Thursday 10th October.

We will need you for at least two hours between 07:00 and 19:00 on selected locations.

The activity is organised in shifts so we’ll agree with you how much time you are willing to give and will plan around your availability.

Where: Stations include: Waterloo, West Ham, Stratford, White City, Arsenal, Highbury and Islington, London Bridge, Victoria, Clapham Junction, Aldgate, Canary Wharf, Bank, Liverpool Street, Holborn, Kings Cross, Mansion House, Bond Street, Knightbridge and Green Park

Volunteer places: As many as possible! There are hundreds of shifts available.
