Saturday 14 July 2018 (All day)

Name of Event: Kentish Town Festival

Volunteer Role: Come and join us for an afternoon of food, fun and friendship at our Busby Place Street Party in Kentish Town.  Organised by the Kentish Town Community Centre, we are really keen to hear from students who would like to help us ensure 2018 is the best festival year ever!

We are looking for volunteers to help us on the day. There is a lot to do and in return we offer a chance to help our local community and be part of a vibrant and fun day out.  Your leadership customer care skills will be developed as you will have to think on your feet with answers to questions from the public and stall holders, but don’t worry there will be plenty of staff around to support you!

  • Stewards – offer help to the public during the event and marshall each end of the street to ensure no vehicular access
  • Stewards – help with set up and set down before and after the event
  • Stall holder volunteer – sign in stall holders on the morning of the event and offer support through the day

When: The event will be open from 12:30 to 17:00 on Saturday 14 July.  We need volunteers from 09:00 to 12:30, 12:30 to 17:00 and/or 16:30 to 19:00.  If you can come for the whole day that would be brilliant!

Where: 17 Busby Place, London, NW5 2SP

Volunteer Places: 15
