The UCL Climbing Club are inviting postgrads to come along to a session at ‘the castle’ indoor climbing centre.

The Club will bring along some experienced climbers who will support anyone who wants to do rope climbing, there will also be open access to the bouldering section all evening.

It will be a lovely evening out and the climbing club will be sharing their discounted entry fee with us, if you’ve ever wanted to try climbing or have done it before this is a great chance to get involved.

We will meet at the university to get everyone registered before we arrive (it means we can start climbing sooner), just make sure you bring along your travel card, oyster, contactless etc. as we will be getting the tube to the centre. The centre is open until 10pm and you are able to climb in the bouldering section until then.  The closest tube stop is Manor House on the Piccadilly Line so you can work out the best way home after.

Your ticket covers everything, you do not need to pay on the day, so make sure you purchase one soon as numbers are limited.  This fee includes entry to the centre, climbing, climbing shoe hire and we will also hire a number of harnesses which will be shared out for those who want to do rope climbing.

This session is perfect for beginners and beyond.

Check out the UCL Climbing and Mountaineering Club page for more information

No previous experience or equipment needed.  Just wear comfortable clothes and socks.
