The Brunei Gallery in SOAS is a brilliant hidden gem among London’s museums, often introducing visitors to entirely new topics from around the world. On this visit, we will get to visit a celebration of Namibia’s recently unearthed underground pop music from the apartheid regime (https://www.soas.ac.uk/gallery/stolen-moments/), and wonder at Japan’s Koyanagi Tanekuni’s expert work with Lacquer both artistically and as a preservation technique for National Treasures (https://www.soas.ac.uk/gallery/a-secret-beauty/).

Meet: 10.45am in the main quad, expected to arrive at the Gallery for 11.00am.

Please make sure you reserve one of the free tickets attached as we are limited to 20 spaces.
