As a student during the current pandemic, access to therapy is limited, which is why we’d like to introduce you to alternative ways to support yourself, such as through music therapy. Music therapy is the clinical use of music interventions, and has been shown to improve psychological, emotional, cognitive, physical, communicative and social wellbeing.
Join us in this session led by Ellie Ruddock and coordinated by MindHug to find out more about this creative therapy!
ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Ellie completed her MA in Music Therapy at Roehampton University and has gained further certification as a specialist Neurologic Music Therapist from the Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy. Ellie has extensive experience of using a variety of Music Therapy approaches and techniques with a diverse mix of client disabilities, illnesses and conditions, from birth to end of life. Ellie specialises in brain injury and medico-legal assessments and ongoing services.
