Join us to learn more about functional anatomy in sport, what this means and how we can use this knowledge to improve performance and prevent injuries in sport. Hosted by Dr Amilia Alifrangis, this talk is aimed towards anyone interested in anatomy, sport or general health! 

Dr Alifrangis is a General Practitioner with an interest and additional qualifications in Sport medicine and exercise health. She is a senior clinical teaching fellow at the Institute of Sport and Exercise Health (ISEH). She qualified as a GP in 2011 at University College London Hospitals VTS, and has experience as a private GP/ health screener, NHS GP and in urgent care. She also works as a ‘marathon medic’, covering events such as the London Marathon, half marathons and Blenheim triathlon.

She is a Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health in the Institute of Sport, Exercise & Health (ISEH) at UCL.
