Hello from SEAD Design Volunteering!

We support people who have combined sight and hearing loss which affects their access to information, mobility and communication. We help them to live with their condition and to build their confidence and independence. 
 

England Hockey is the national governing body of Hockey, in England.

We've got a great selection of volunteering opportunities for UCL students to get involved in.

Each year as many as 20,000 children flee domestic abuse to seek sanctuary in refuge. Typically leaving home with only the clothes on their back, these children have experienced physical, emotional, and even sexual abuse and arrive at refuge with nothing.

We're L'Arche, an international movement of communities for people with and without learning disabilities. L'Arche London, based in West Norwood, is made up of about 100 people with and without learning disabilities, some of whom live in our community houses and others

Youth Fundraisers UCL is a new student-led volunteering project which aims to facilitate secondary school students to become the next generation of global fundraisers.

Steel Warriors is an anti knife crime charity that melt down knives taken off the streets and recycles the steel into outdoor street gyms.

Films that look good and do good 

We want to make a difference, give back to the local community and spread some joy through the art of Bollywood dance! Members of the society will be providing Bollywood workshops for children at local primary schools, aged between 3-11 years old.

Families4Peace began in 2021 when a group of north-west London secondary school students decided to form a community response to the Ukraine War. They became a charity and launched their community centre in 2022, and have been welcoming displaced families since.

HIYB addresses health inequalities in East London by offering free & low-cost creative health services. 

Loop Labs seek to improve quality of life for Londoners. They work with local people to develop skills, improving access to nature, contributing to collective wellbeing.

They produce artistic projects which focus on themes of, or where art functions as an act/tool of, personal or collective resilience, recovery and restart or reconstruction of identity.

Talk for Health is a social enterprise that believes everyone benefits from the opportunity to talk, to share, and to give as well as receive support. We offer a free counselling skills peer programme.
