Ovarian cancer can be devastating. It kills 11 women every single day in the UK and survival rates in the UK are among the worst in Europe. But there is hope – Target Ovarian Cancer. We are the authority on ovarian cancer. We work with women, family members and health professionals to ensure we target the areas that matter most for those living and working with ovarian cancer. As the UK’s leading ovarian cancer charity we improve early diagnosis, we fund life-saving research and we provide much-needed support to women with ovarian cancer. We’re the only charity fighting ovarian cancer on all three of these fronts, across all four nations of the UK. Target Ovarian Cancer offers a diverse range of volunteering opportunities: we have regular opportunities to help us with station collections around London - just two hours of your time could pay for half a day of medical research into new treatments for ovarian cancer. You could help out at one of our annual fundraising events, such as The Ovarian Cancer Walk / Run, or our annual Carol Service. We also have some opportunity for office-based volunteers to support our fundraising team. Whether you can only commit to a one-off event or want to help us with something more long-term, your time will allow us to support more women living with ovarian cancer.
