Outward is a forward-thinking charity that works across ten London Boroughs to support people to live with dignity and purpose. Our work is diverse, from supporting people to live independently in their own homes to providing safe, secure accommodation and tailored support when and where it is needed. Everything we do is about enabling people to have greater choice, independence and control over how they live their own lives. We work in the following London boroughs: Bromley, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest. We offer a range of specialist services for: * people with learning disabilities, including a specialised service that supports people on the autism spectrum * older people * people with mental health issues * young people at risk. Volunteers are an integral part of Outward being able to deliver specialised services to enable the people we support to live the lives they choose. We encourage all of our volunteers to being their own creativity and innovation to their roles, and of course have fun whilst doing so! Whether you want to get more involved in your local community, meet new people or gain experience of working in social care- we have something for you!
