Opportunity: Santa Run

Action on Hearing Loss are looking for volunteers to help out at the Santa Run in Victoria Park London. This iconic event brings in thousands of runners each year. Come along and enjoy the exciting atmosphere, while raising awareness for Action on Hearing Loss.

We need volunteers to add to the fun atmosphere, and to motivate our fantastic runners! If you can spare a few hours on the day, then please do get in touch.


Opportunity: Community Presenter Volunteer

You will be presenting information as part of the Hear to Inform and Connect project. This exciting project is expanding our information services for older and isolated people with hearing loss. We are also working with local organisations and community groups to help them make their services more accessible and inclusive for older people with hearing loss.


Opportunity: Event Speaker Volunteer

Deliver talks to community groups such as rotary clubs, faith groups, schools and business with the aim of increasing understanding of hearing loss, tinnitus and deafness. Raising awareness of Action on Hearing Loss’s work in the community, and motivating groups to fundraise.


Opportunity: Events Manager Volunteer

As Event Manager, you’ll be organising an event or events that appeal to you, your own network and your own community. You will receive support from your local Community Fundraising Manager who will guide you through planning and executing an event via a course in events management that can lead to an accreditation from the Open College Network (Level 2)


Opportunity: Facilities Assistant Volunteer

Help the Facilities team at our head office in Highbury, ensuring that visitors receive a friendly welcome at reception and helping to maintain facilities throughout the building. This is a varied role and would suit someone who can adapt to variable workloads.
