Mentors need to complete an online training (4.5 hours) and group training (4 hours) Mentoring sessions will take place on a weekly basis for 1-2 hours over a period of 6-month. Mentors are expected attend a supervision session every six-weeks.
Opportunity description: 

Broadening Horizons is a mentoring programme for disadvantaged young people aged 10 - 18 in Westminster that Westminster Befriend a Family (WBAF) has been running for two years. We are looking for Mentors, who will work with a young person on a weekly basis for 1-2 hours over a period of six months. Our trained, supervised Mentors are expected to provide emotional, practical and career support to their mentees, helping them to build their aspirations, boosting their confidence and providing additional support with social and educational challenges they might come across.

Location: 
We are a local charity and our projects take place in the borough of Westminster. Mentoring sessions can be arranged at the mentees' home, or in a library, school, youth club, etc
