This role is available at weekends between 11.00 and 15.00 We will ask you to arrive a little earlier to set up. Ideally, we’d like someone who can help us one day each month until the end of the academic year (July). We have a volunteer software system that allows you to sign up/cancel shifts up to 3 days before the shift is due as we aim to offer as much flexibility as possible. The Taster Day for this role will be on Monday 13th January
Opportunity description: 

Bletchley Park is a place of exceptional historical importance being the home of code breaking in the Second World War, producing secret intelligence which had a direct and profound influence on the outcome of the conflict. You will be welcoming and speaking with our visitors about Bletchley Park, what went on here during the war and its impact on our lives today. You’ll have the chance to make the experiences of those who worked here come life, tell the story of the Enigma machine and the code breakers and give our visitors a fantastic day out.

This volunteer role offers the opportunity to engage children and families visiting Bletchley Park outside of school hours as part of our families programme. You will support our learning department in delivering engaging and inspiring informal activities to visitors of all ages. You’ll be ensuring that our families, young people and children all receive a consistently warm and friendly welcome and have a very enjoyable experience during their visit to Bletchley Park.
