Develop, enhance and learn skills while gaining first-hand insight into charity careers.

Could you help create a social enterprise? Engage an isolated community? Build a website? Design a marketing campaign? Help tackle real issues faced by local charities.

Social Hackathons are problem-solving/solution-creating events that take place over the course of one working day. You will be placed with a local not-for-profit organisation, devising and implementing solutions to issues they are currently facing.

Working in a team of UCL volunteers, you’ll develop skills, learn about the Third Sector from its own professionals and connect with new communities across London.

Please apply through our online webform. By highlighting your existing skills and those you wish to develop, you will be allocated a project that you can really excel in.

Applications are open until 11 January 2019.  Places will be allocated by the end of January, with the Hackathons taking place throughout February 2019.

There are limited places available, so do apply soon!
