About the organisation

Octavia Foundation

Octavia Foundation supports people affected by ill health, social isolation, low income or unemployment in central and west London.

Are you passionate about working with young people and helping provide opportunities for their development? Are you passionate about creative or digital media (e.g. filmmaking, photography, music production, art & design, web design, video game design)?

We need fun, dynamic and enthusiastic people to commit to volunteering at least one evening a month to work with our group of young people aged 7-21.

Our volunteer youth workers play an integral role in helping to facilitate our youth work sessions, including supporting activities such as cooking, media and music workshops, and providing general support and guidance for the young people.

Our volunteers always work alongside experienced youth workers and have lots of opportunities to learn and gain valuable experience. We can provide references to employers and/or further education establishments.
