About the organisation

Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB)

The RSPB speaks out for birds and wildlife, tackling the problems that threaten our environment.

We are the largest wildlife conservation organisation in Europe with over one million members. Wildlife and the environment face many threats. Our work is focused on the species and habitats that are in the greatest danger.

Our work is driven by the passionate belief that birds and wildlife enrich people’s lives, the health of bird populations is indicative of the health of the planet on which the future of the human race depends, and we all have a responsibility to protect wildlife.

Do you have a few hours to spare each week? We are looking for people to place and manage five or more pin badge boxes in suitable shops and attractions within your community. We will ask you to visit these sites every month, count and bank at any post office or Pay Point location and replenish boxes with pin badges. You will have regular contact with RSPB staff in London/Brighton.

For a small amount of your time can gain valuable experience. Such as; responsibility, organizational skills, working on own initiative, liaising with mangers and communication skills.

As well as this, you will be an ambassador of the RSPB in your own community and you will have the satisfaction of being a part of your areas scheme helping to raise money for wildlife.
