Home Support Volunteer

Home Support volunteers aim to provide emotional, social and practical support to family members during the child’s life and during the period following the child’s death if appropriate. Becoming a Home Support volunteer is a serious commitment but it provides a rewarding opportunity to directly support children with life-limiting / life threatening conditions and their families.

Fundraising & Event Assistant

The success of any fundraising event relies on the support of our volunteers. Events are usually at weekends but preparation takes place during the week. All our events raise vital funds to support our work. This role is very flexible, as volunteers are not required to make any regular commitment and no further training is needed after the volunteer induction.

We hope to provide you with the opportunity to build customer service skills through a variety of interactions, to gain experience of event management and to develop the ability to work as part of a team.

Charity Podz Partnership Support

Noah’s Ark are in the very early days of a partnership with Charity Podz, the charitable arm of a family business, Toy Podz. They have been incredibly successful with Toy Podz and have recently branched into supporting charities by supplying un-manned concessions that are branded with the charity logo and marketing message. The concessions sell licensed capsuled toys for £1 of which the charity receives 25p. They’re perfect for keeping children entertained!

We have a brilliant opportunity to raise much needed awareness and funds through this partnership.
