Help us build stronger communities at Aston-Mansfield by volunteering in our charity shop in Forest Gate!

We’re in need of some new volunteer to join us in our shop on Woodgrange Road. We’re looking for individuals who are able to commit once a week for at least 6 months. If you have previous retail experience, we’d love to hear form you - but don’t worry if not. If you are successful your supervisor will induct you into the role and explain the basic principles of volunteering in a charity shop.

The Little Manor Play Project is our core out-of-school programme, where children attending our breakfast, after school and holiday sessions participate in a wide range of fun and stimulating activities. These activities provide opportunities for social, physical & creative development and improve well-being.

We’re looking for people who can be the face of the charity in our communities. We encourage you to join us as an events volunteer where you’ll play a vital role in raising awareness about our work. Cycle Training Volunter

Help us build stronger communities at Aston-Mansfield by volunteering with our Little Manor Cycle Project!

We’re looking for volunteers to assist our qualified cycling instructors in the improvement of the cycling abilities of children attending Aston-Mansfield’s Little Manor Play Project.

The volunteer will assist staff in providing cycling activities for 60 children within an academic year. They will need good knowledge of cycle mechanics, mainteance and safety.

Reception Assistant

Are you ready to be the face of our charity?

As a Receptionist you will act as a first point of contact for visitors to our community buildings. You’ll welcome people, inform them of our services, have a friendly chat and signpost them to other events/groups of interest.

You will be representing Aston-Mansfield, helping to engage people with our work, ensuring people feel welcomed, valued and informed.

You will need to have skills in basic administration or at least a willingness to learn!

Community Involvement Research Volunteer

CIU staff will are looking for volunteers with skills in storytelling, updating existing pieces of work and scientific based research methods.

We’re looking for someone who will be able to work in a team and with other people. Experience working with Mailchimp is desirable.
