Digital Debt Intervention Volunteers

In April 2018, Age UK Westminster will launch a pilot Debt Intervention service. This service will support vulnerable older people who are struggling to manage debt or at a high risk of falling into debt.

We have vacancies for two Digital Debt Intervention Volunteers. Our Digital Debt Intervention volunteers will provide further support to our service users, by training them how to use online services (banking, shopping etc) and money management apps.

Digital Debt Advisor Volunteer

Organisation: 

The Digital Debt Advisor volunteers will work as part of our Debt Intervention Service Team which supports vulnerable older people in Westminster who are struggling to manage their debts or are at a high risk of falling into debt.

Volunteers will provide further support to our service users by training them on how to use online services such as online banking and shopping, and also on money management apps. This support is provided through our weekly debt advice drop-in surgery and by carrying out home visits to Westminster residents aged 50 and above.

Social Media & Website Volunteer

Project Admin Volunteers - Debt Intervention Service

We are recruiting Project Administrator volunteers to provide much needed support to our Debt Intervention Service team. The Debt Intervention Service supports vulnerable older people in Westminster who are struggling to manage their debts or are at a high risk of falling into debt.

The Project Administrator role will involve; contacting clients for appointment and follow-up work, recording client data on Charitylog, writing up case studies and assisting with emails and other correspondence.
