Missing People

We are a lifeline when someone disappears. We are caring and highly trained staff and volunteers working in collaboration with partners across the UK. For those left behind, we provide specialised support to end the heartache and confusion and search for their missing loved one. We operate a 24 hour helpline service and we help to cite searches and find those who go missing.

What you’d be doing

* Supporting our Major Gifts Team with administrative duties, including keeping our database up to date and writing content for letters/promotional materials and our website

* Helping at organised VIP events like our Carol Service and Fundraising Dinner, as well as our Corporate Volunteering Days

Qualities/Experience/Skills needed

* Previous fundraising experience isn’t essential

* Confident communicator, both verbally and written, with an eye for detail

* Motivated by making a difference

Location and availability

* Central Office in South West London - SW14 7JE. Locations of events will vary

* Ideally you will be able to support twice a month. This would be a mixture of time spent in our office and at events

* We would hope that you would be able to commit to at least six months’ of volunteering

Role Aim:

Time commitment: 
3-5 hours per week
Opening times: 
This role can be carried out once a week. A specific day will be discussed with you in an informal discussion before you start volunteering. VIP events will be as when they have been organised
