About the organisation

Mencap (Royal Mencap Society)

Mencap is the leading voice of learning disability. Everything we do is about valuing and supporting people with a learning disability, and their families and carers. Mencap works with people with a learning disability to change laws, challenge prejudice and support them to live their lives as they choose.

Application deadline:

London Landmarks Half Marathon is a 13 mile run taking place on Sunday 24th March.

Mencap have lots of runners raising money to support people with a learning disability.

As part of our cheer squad, you’ll give them that extra support to cross the finish line.

It’s an electric atmosphere where huge crowds gather to support thousands of people running through the streets of London.

Volunteers will receive a t-shirt and refreshments, and can claim travel expenses if needed.
