Age UK Westminster exists to promote the well-being of older people in the City of Westminster and help make life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience within our local community. Age Concern Westminster exists to promote the well being of older people in the City of Westminster to help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.

Application deadline: 

Age UK Westminster are recruiting a large pool of dedicated volunteers to help out with our fundraising activities and community events. Volunteers will help with activities such as setting up information stands, representing us and promoting our organisation’s work at public events. This role would suit someone who wants to volunteer without the need to commit on a regular basis, but instead can help as and when they are available.

Role Aim: 

We need volunteers to provide extra support at our own events as well as events that we get invited to attend.

Duties: 

Tasks / Duties the volunteer will carry out:

Helping to set up and man information stalls

Promoting Age UK service and volunteering opportunities to the public

Providing general help

Skills needed: 

Organised and reliable

Able to work independently when the role requires

Good spoken English is essential

Ability to engage with the public

Able to get on well with others

Training: 

Volunteers will be inducted before each event
