Dream Networks

Dream Networks is a social enterprises that harnesses the power of collaboration, technology and empathy to tackle play inequality and provide inclusive play areas for all. Dream Networks collaborates with businesses, schools and communities to co-design and build playgrounds in underutilised areas in economically deprived communities around the world. Communities where children lack access to engaging and safe playgrounds. So far, we have design and built play areas for over 4000 children in the UK and Africa.

At Dream Networks we are experiencing strong business and community traction across the world for our co-design and build service for play areas. We have a growing network of business to pitch our business to and schools and communities in need of our enriching outdoor play areas. As our business developer, you will work both independently and closely with our CEO, to pitch our service, build customer relationships, secure deals and help to enable more children to play through growing our social enterprise

Role Aim: 

As a business development manager is you will identify sales leads (potential clients for social enterprise), pitch our service to new clients, develop our marketing material and a cultivate strong working relationship with new contacts. You will work closely with the CEO to secure deals that enable more play areas to creatively co-designed and built for children in deprived communities


• Identifying potential clients based on guidance provided by CEO and business customer segments

• Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings

• Planning and preparing presentations

• Meeting with potential clients to pitch product

• Developing marketing literature with the support of the CEO

• Providing CEO with feedback

Skills needed: 

Strong communication skills

Experience in sales

Presentation skills

Powerpoint and Word

Time commitment: 
3-5 hours per week
Opening times: 
Volunteer can choose the days, ideally would allocate 2-3 hrs, 2 days a week. Working hours can be determined by you.
