1 in 10 women suffer from a disease youve probably never heard of endometriosis. Endometriosis is one of the most common gynaecological diseases which can cause excruciating pain (particularly around periods), debilitating fatigue, painful sex as well as other symptoms and impact on all aspects of a young womans life including affecting fertility. Around 1.5million UK women aged between 12-45 years have endometriosis and Endometriosis UK provides support and information to anyone who needs help when dealing with this chronic condition.

We are looking for a motivated, organised and caring individual with good IT skills to support us and our fundraisers!

As a small charity, we rely on our fantastic supporters who raise money for the organisation through a whole range of events and activities. The Fundraising Co-ordinator role is crucial to co-ordinating and administering support to ensure the efficient day to day running of the charity’s fundraising activities.

Our challenge is that despite 1 in 10 women suffering from endometriosis, it is a little talked-about and often unrecognised disease. It takes an average of 7.5 years to get a diagnosis in the UK, and results in a yearly £8.2 billion loss to the UK economy in terms of healthcare treatments and loss of education and loss of earnings.
