Cystic Fibrosis Trust

We are the only UK-wide charity making a daily difference to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis, and those who care for them.

We fund vital research into effective treatments and cures for cystic fibrosis, drive up standards of care in clinics and offer practical support for people with the condition.

Events Administration Volunteer

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide national charity making a daily difference to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis, and those who care for them.

We are looking for volunteers to help support our Event Fundraising team, which works with supporters and fundraisers across the UK. We simply wouldn’t be able to carry out the work that we do without the income from our fundraisers.

The volunteers will support the team in all administrative tasks for the department.

Your administrative skills will play an essential role in handling supporters responses to event invitations, ensuring that all supporters receive the best possible event experience.

Role Aim: 

We are looking for volunteers to help support our Event Fundraising team, which works with supporters and fundraisers across the UK. We simply would not be able to carry out the work that we do without the income from our fundraisers.

Duties: 

Managing and updating our website listings project

Attending fundraising events

Helping with mailings to supporters

Compiling thank you letters to supporters

Sending out materials for fundraising events

Skills needed: 

Good attention to detail

A good telephone manner

Good interpersonal and general communication skills

Basic IT Skills - Word, email, excel

A can do attitude

Training: 

Induction
